In the Project 1 handins that I've seen so far, some lay out what
would be a huge, unwieldy, and impossible-to-do project.  You could
imagine that they're leaving the door open for a more focused project.
But you need to exhibit some awareness of the scope of what you're
suggesting, and if it's huge, say some things about how you will (need
to!) narrow it so it becomes achievable.
