Hi,

Trying a default, non-chroot install of 4.6 on a Gentoo box, where sftp
works fine under a normal ssh session, with scponly as shell I'm seeing:

Feb 12 16:52:20 china sshd[23124]: Accepted keyboard-interactive/pam for someusr from 12.12.12.12 port 52255 ssh2
Feb 12 16:52:20 china sshd(pam_unix)[23133]: session opened for user someusr by (uid=0)
Feb 12 16:52:20 china sshd[23133]: subsystem request for sftp
Feb 12 16:52:20 china sshd(pam_unix)[23133]: session closed for user someusr

So the login's working, but sshd is closing the session as soon as the sftp
request is made. If I set the shell to /bin/bash instead of
/usr/local/bin/scponly, sftp works fine for this user.

What am I missing?

Thanks,
Whit
