[scponly] Net::SFTP returns fsetstat error

We use scponlyc on our SuSE Linux 9.0 server. A
customer is trying to use Net::SFTP to script an
automated upload to our server. The upload works fine,
but the script returns an error:

fsetstat: No such file or directory at
/opt/filed/lib/Net/SFTP.pm line 200

If we use an account with an interactive shell, we do
not see this error. However, if I change an existing
scponlyc user to /bin/bash the problem still exists.
I'm not sure if the problem is related to the
permissions setup on the homedir by setup_chroot.sh.
Can anyone give some tips on where to start? I added
LogLevel=DEBUG3 to my sshd_config but it showed no
errors.
My SuSE 9.0 system is fully patched using Yast and I
did upgrade my scponlyc to 3.11

Steve
