Nitpicking (FreeBSD 4.7):

./setup_chroot.sh complains:
ls: /lib/libnss_compat*: No such file or directory
chown: separation of user and group with a period is deprecated

FreeBSD has no /etc/nsswitch.conf, and AFAIK the POSIX standard for
chown is user:group. At least Solaris insists on the colon. As you can
see, FreeBSD doesn't like it very well ;-). GNU chown prefers the colon
as you can see on the manpage. I'm not aware of any systems the do not
allow the colon.
