Subject: [professors] Room for all PhD students at head of NSF CISE talk
Friday morning at 10:30am in Raytheon
Dear PhD students,
We have sufficient room for all of you to attend Jim Kurose’s talk (see
attached flyer). Since he will be talking about the future of CS research
in NSF, this is of keen interest to all of us. He is a *great* speaker.
Jim is the director of CISE (the computer science part of the NSF, that
funds many of you).
Let’s have a huge turnout to show our appreciation that he is coming to
Northeastern first of all Boston Universities; please make this a
priority. There will be a reception with snacks afterward.
(Dear Faculty, please encourage all of your PhD students to attend and any
MS and undergraduates with whom you do research).
Please rsvp here: http://doodle.com/poll/iq89wbw8gh9zp8yd
Thank you,
Carla
