hi guys, i'm here for the spring quarter. i'd like to schedule a meeting time
so we can touch base and figure out what's up with the project. we'll figure
out when during the crew meeting on thursday.

upon arriving, i updated mozilla to 0.9.9 and XFree86 to 4.2.0 proper, as well
as the linux kernel to 2.4.18. I'm still working out some hardware GL bugs
with the new X, but that should be squashed momentarily.

I appreciate the work everyone has done last quarter to keep this project afloat
and thank the people who've been keeping software up to date. I need to ask one
favor, and that's to remove the source directories from /usr/local/src when
a program is running stably and tested. keep the tarballs if you wish, but
there's no need to have multiple copies of the same object code laying around
a system. thanks!

so we'll chat thursday. does anyone want to run something like bugzilla on
bessie to keep track of issues?
