This only seems to be happening on Solaris...Scponly works perfectly on
Linux. Any ideas as to what's causing this under Solaris? Can I provide
any more details?
Thanks,
- Mike

Subject: [scponly] scponlyc troubles
Hi all,
I'm having troubles getting scp to work. I can sftp just fine. Any info
would be great. It took me a while to get the chroot set up on Solaris.
Basically I had to do a ldd /usr/local/libexec/sftp-server and copy all
the libraries to the right places under the chroot jail. See below for my
results. Any ideas as to why scp is mapping to user 7777 (tmoatltr's uid)
Sftp results :
-----------------
sftp tmoatltr at localhost
Connecting to localhost...
tmoatltr at localhost's password:
sftp> ls
.
..
bin
etc
lib
usr
sftp> bye
Scp results :
------------------
scp /tmp/scponly-3.9.tgz tmoatltr at localhost:./
tmoatltr at localhost's password:
unknown user 7777
lost connection
