[scponly] Where are the DEBUG-Messages?

Hi,

I am trying to get some debug-messages, I put a "3" into the
/path/to/debuglevel file, but there is no debug anywhere... do I have
to put anything into syslog.conf or what else do i have to do to get
some debug messages?
