job description? Hear about interviewing successes from recent NU Alumni.

Interested in working for a magazine, television, radio, film or theater
company?  What is it really like to work in the media? Reps from these
professions will offer insight at this open house event.


You're Hired! How to Make It Happen     Wednesday, Sept 28 and Thursday,
Sept 29, 4:00-5:00 pm, room 012 Stearns
Seniors, why should you start thinking about finding a job already? Many
employers interview in the fall and make job offers long before April.
Career Services has resources you can start using NOW. This workshop is
mandatory for learning about NU's On Campus Recruiting program.

Making Your Best Impression: Career Fair Success for International Students
Wednesday, Sept 28, 6:00-8:00 pm, room 413 Stearns
Before the fair, come to this workshop to meet an immigration attorney and
a company reps who were international students to learn how to impress
employers U.S. style, explain your visa status, and use your international
experience to your best advantage.
