Abstract: We are at the dawn of mass personalization. Automatically adapting digital interactive experiences, such as games, to individual needs and preferences may have a transformative impact on health and education. However, there are still many unsolved questions regarding user modeling, automatic interface/content adaptation, and evaluation methodology. This talk will outline some of the recent work at the Procedural expression Lab (LAB) and discuss key open challenges for personalized applications in health and education.
