Dr. Eugene Kolker, Seattle Children’s Chief Data Officer and the Research Institute’s Principal Investigator will introduce three facets of the Kolker Lab ( www.kolkerlab.org ): Predictive Analytics, Bioinformatics and Omics Analysis, and the Data-Enabled Life Sciences Alliance. 




Our goal is to translate data through information and knowledge to outcomes. The Predictive Analytics work is aimed at improving patient care and reducing costs which entails collaboration with clinical champions and IT. Collaboration continues in bioinformatics and omics analysis research. This includes, for example, the creation of MOPED (Model Organism Protein Expression Database). Recently we co-founded the Data Enabled Life Sciences Alliance and will overview its activities.
