Hi Kaleb, (added reply-to scponly list)

I just installed scponly 4.8 , and I have the same issue.
I configured with --enable-rsync-compat --disable-wilcards , which is
the only thing I need.

root at galaxy:/goinfre/SCPONLY/scponly-4.8> rsync SECURITY
eduardo at localhost:~/ eduardo at localhost's password:
invalid characters in scp command!
here:~/
try using a wildcard to match this file/directory
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far) [sender]
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(632)
[sender=3.0.4] root at galaxy:/goinfre/SCPONLY/scponly-4.8>

And on the server:
Oct 22 11:33:37 galaxy sshd[4482]: Accepted password for eduardo from
127.0.0.1 port 35346 ssh2 Oct 22 11:33:37 galaxy sshd[4482]:
pam_unix(sshd:session): session opened for user eduardo by (uid=0) Oct
22 11:33:37 galaxy scponly[4487]: bad request: rsync --server -e.s . ~/
[username: eduardo(502), IP/port: 127.0.0.1 35346 22] Oct 22 11:33:38
galaxy sshd[4482]: pam_unix(sshd:session): session closed for user
eduardo

Thx

What version of scponly did you install? This should be fixed in the
most
recent version of scponly.

Please try the most recent version of scponly and let us know how it
goes.

Thanks.
