Hi Karl-
  The short answer is it should be called into work order control at
x2754. It is best for someone who is in that area to do so they can be
in contact with you directly (vs. having it come through us). Work
order control should send a locksmith right out as soon as possible if
you make it clear that the space could be left unlocked and the
contents would be in peril.

P.S. Feel free to echo this message on to the PRL list if you'd like.
In general, people should always feel free to drop a note to
systems at ccs with "who to contact" questions because we often know who
at NU is responsible for different things.

P.P.S. I was told when we first moved into the building that using the
deadbolt as a way of propping open the door could lead to misalignment
of the door strike hardware and problems like this. The current
problem is probably just from normal wear and tear, but it is
worthwhile to remember not to keep it open that way.
