PRL-
Felix (me) is in the midst of trying to update the PRL webpages.
* Felix has removed David Lorenz from the Projects page
* Felix has incorporated Mitch's publications into the Publications
list (from ~wand/.www/pubs.bib)
But the pages are still very out of date.
In the short term, Felix wants to incorporate three main things:
1. Add the first and second year students to the webpages. They
need to send him a self-portrait (e.g. get him to take a picture of
you) and a self-description (see the PRL website for examples of self-
descriptions).
2. Get all of the students to update their self-descriptions
(e.g. Richard isn't working on environmental acquisition anymore).
3. Update the publications page with whatever people have published.
* (Felix has machinery to import entries from a .bib file
and from certain kinds of xml files, but otherwise he needs to enter
the publication info in a s-exp/x-exp format that he developed a few
years ago. More details below.)
Here are the tasks for pretty much every student in the PRL
(including Felix!):
1. Look at the PRL webpages: http://www.ccs.neu.edu/research/prl/
2. If you are not on the People page, get a picture and a self-
description to put on the website. If you are on the People page,
get an updated self-description.
3. If you want to add a publication to the Publications page, get the
relevant info. (Usually if you have a .bib file or some sort of xml
file with the information in it, then he can make something to
extract it in the format he wants.)
You can either send the stuff you accumulate in the above process to
Felix, or you can put it on the Wiki.
Felix has put up two Wiki pages related to this topic.
