[PRL] Languages for Graduate Application

Our graduate application has asked (since time immemorial, which means
I made it up around 1985),

Programming: Please list the programming languages in which you have
written programs. Indicate the length in lines of the longest working
program you have written in each language. You may approximate, but
count only those parts of the program that you wrote yourself.

The current application lists the following languages:

    * C
    * C++
    * Java
    * Scheme
    * Pascal
    * Fortran
    * Lisp
    * ML

This list is definitely showing its age. (Pascal? Fortran?) What
languages should we delete from this list? What languages should we
add? What about mergers (eg Lisp/Scheme/ML)?

I've created a wiki page, at https://wiki.ccs.neu.edu/x/KQI , to discuss this.

All CCIS users should have read/write access to this page; log in with
your CCIS username and password. If you have difficulty accessing
this web page, it most likely means that you were not a CCIS user as
of around April 15 (when the Confluence wiki was installed), and you
should ask systems to authorize you.
