BBN is looking for a summer intern. They are looking for
a small number of applicants from us.

If you are interested, please can you forward your resume
to Ravi Sundaram.

I view this as an interesting opportunity to investigate
domain specific aspect languages.

BBN XG Summer Intern Requirements

BBN is looking for an intern this summer who can work with our team to
develop
policy-adaptive cognitive radio behaviors for opportunistic spectrum
sharing. As part of the
DARPA XG project we are developing machine readable language for
spectrum policy
expression and associated reasoning tools ( see
http://www.darpa.mil/ato/programs/XG/rfcs.htm ) )

Ideally, the candidate:

   - has a strong CS background, preferably in logic/KR, languages, or AI

   - is a good programmer familiar with semantic web and Java, who learns
quickly, and is comfortable with rapid prototyping

   - can work closely with our team in Cambridge this summer

   - has done some coursework in digital communications or signal
processing

This research task will involve developing some prototype software,
including
the application of knowledge representation (semantic markup) languages
and
interpreters, rule-based inference engines, FOPL theorem provers, and
arithmetic-logic constraint solvers. Our prototyping environment
currently
includes OWL/RDF, Java, CLIPS/Jess, Perl, and OPNET.
