Rust is an open source programming language being led by Mozilla
Research, designed to be safe, concurrent, and fast. I spoke about Rust
at the PRL several years ago, and many of the motivations and design
decisions are similar, but many more have changed. In this talk I will
present the current state of Rust: its influences, its major features,
and some of the interesting technical challenges we've tackled.
