Asumu presents "A primer for non-local control"

Abstract:
Non-local control constructs are available in most
major languages in the form of exceptions, generators,
continuations, and so on. These constructs are an important
part of a programmer's toolkit and have presented many
interesting design problems for programming language
  experts.

This talk 1) presents a brief overview of the history and
evolution of non-local control constructs and 2) discusses
in more detail the use of delimited continuations and
  coroutines in modern programming languages.
