Module Systems: What, Why, and How

Abstract:
In this talk, I will explain the basics of some module systems, including why we would want them, some developments over the years, and some interesting ways that they mix with other language features. In particular, I'll talk about encoding modules in F-omega and how to get macros and modules to play nice together.
