Asumu - Foundations of Object-Oriented Programming

While OOP languages like Java, C#, or JavaScript are popular in
industry, it is difficult to point out what the "essence" of OO is. On
the other hand, the lambda calculus has provided the PL community with a
unified platform with which to communicate results about functional
programming.  This talk presents the basics of object calculi, which
represent one attempt to unify research in OO programming.
