Unfortunately, the individual who started the idea of an NULUG, Tom
Olson, left Northeastern. Nobody has yet volunteered to take any further
steps towards forming such a group, so it is currently stalled. In the
meantime, Crew (which maintains the Linux machines in 201 Cullinane)
is considering holding a Linux installfest sometime over the next few
months, possibly along with an introductory talk on the subject.

The linux-users mailing list is technically only for discussion of
Crew's Linux project (maintaining the lab machines), so keeping
up-to-date on events could be easier by subscribing to the crew list
(https://lists.ccs.neu.edu/bin/listinfo/crew).
