[Linux-users] interest

Hi,

I'm a new freshman interested, but not especially experienced, in the use 
of Linux. As a humanities type, my knowledge lies more in the 
history/theory, and less in the actual hands-on use, but I'd absolutely 
love to learn some command-line stuff (not just Gnome) & to associate with 
the local Linux community. Will NULUG be meeting this semester, and how can 
I check it out?
