Yes, it does, and it's in NIS, so you should be able to just remove
postfix from the local passwd and shadow files and it should Just
Work[TM]. You'll have to chown/chgrp all the files, of course.
The UID and GID are 822 (mnemonic: RFC 822).

still correct? Or should I just grab a floppy from somebody and be
told when to reboot from it?
