[Linux-users] wierd window manager stuff

ok, so im a pretty novice *nix user but i guess to have stuff break on you
is the best way to learn...

for somereason my window manager keeps changing to something other than
sawfish, if i go into the gnome configuration utility it will say that
sawfish is the current wm but it definately is not. this craziness started
to happen after i logged into a solaris box for the first time since i had
used gnome/sawfish under linux.  i tested this out a bit this afternoon and
noticed the following.

1-running "rm -rf .gnome*" fixes my problems (temporarilly)
2-if i exit using "ctrl-alt-bkspce" i dont have a problem either
3-seems that choosing to save my settings when i log out causes the problems
	even if i was successfully using sawfish at the time of logout


any ideas?
