The command I used works in bash, on my redhat machine at home.
After fiddeling with it for a while:
alias cwdcmd 'echo -n "\033]0;${HOSTNAME}: $cwd\007"'
Does the equivlent in tcsh on the machines in the lab. (At least it does
for me ;))
