Abstract

We will speak about security in modern web applications. Ajax applications, in particular mash-ups, are posing new and difficult challenges for security. These issues often form at the intersection of systems, security, and programming languages. We will discuss the development of open web standards such as JavaScript and the DOM and how security figures into the future of these technologies.
